A NOTE FROM MAGGIE
The purpose of Women’s Ministry is to touch lives with the transforming power of Jesus Christ through consistent daily prayer and Bible study, as well as providing an atmosphere of acceptance for women to develop their unique gifts and abilities, while building lasting relationships.
On Tuesday evenings, the fall women’s Bible study is taught by Maggie Chandler in a combined group setting. The spring women’s Bible study uses Beth Moore materials (a video in the combined group and workbooks in small groups) and is coordinated by Lori Kulbeth.
On Thursday mornings, there is a Precepts Bible study that uses Kay Arthur materials and is led by Diana Boone in the spring and fall.
We offer a church-wide Ladies Salad Supper annually, as well as various conferences and special events. We also provide personal counseling sessions for women as needed.
The women at Central Church are warm and friendly and will welcome anyone with open arms. Ecclesiastes 4:9 says, “Two are better than one...” In other words, there’s no need to face life’s struggles all alone, not when we can do it together.
