Volunteer Screening
To ensure the safety of the children entrusted to our care while they are at church, all regular Kid Central volunteers submit to a background check. Background checks help protect the safety of our kids and also the integrity of our ministries.
Check In/Out
Kids from nursery age to 4th grade must be checked in through our electronic check-in system for kids' classes, except during the Awana program.
Each family will be assigned a unique code for Check In at the Self Check In kiosks.
After checking in, child name tags and parent claim tickets will print. These tags will contain a unique ID number each week to ensure that no child is released to the wrong person.
During Check In, parents will be able to include any child-specific notes (such as allergies, special needs, etc.) to communicate with teachers.
Process:

| 1. Parent checks child in at kiosk. | 1. Parent returns to child's class. |
| 2. Parent places nametag on child. | 2. Parent gives teacher/leader claim tag to match to child's tag. |
| 3. Parent takes child to appropriate class. | 3. Teacher/leader compares claim tag to child's nametag for dismissal. |
